Missy can not stress enough the importance of moisturizing your skin. The more moisture you have in your skin, the better your makeup will look. It will apply better and will not settle in fine-lines and wrinkles.

The first step alot of people forget is priming the skin. Use Motives Perfecting Face Primer before applying foundation to achieve a smooth even canvas and prevent makeup from slipping into lines and wrinkles. Not only will the primer help your makeup stay on better, it also helps your skin maintain moisture. You should also consider specialty treatments like Motives Invisi-Line that can be applied to anywhere that you have fine lines and wrinkles.  This will smooth those areas so that your makeup applies more evenly.

When it comes to your foundation, Missy suggests you work with two colors. Start with color that is a little bit lighter than your skin tone. In this case, she suggests Motives Creme Concealers in Amber. After the concealer is applied, Missy recommends Motives Mineral Pressed Power in Cream.
